Here's how you convert your document to a PDF file:

  1. Open the document in the application that created it. For example, Photoshop.
  2. Then Click File > Print.
  3. The Print dialogue box will open. Click on Printer options and select Adobe PDF from the Printer options menu.
  4. If you don't have the Adobe PDF option in your Printer options menu, that is because you don't have the Adobe Acrobat application. What you can do instead is to Save the file as a TIFF file. Go to File > Save As. In the Format options, click TIFF and then Save the file to your Desktop. You can email this TIFF file to us instead of the Adobe PDF file. The reason we suggest you convert to PDF is because PDF files are smaller and easier to email.
  5. If you do have the Adobe PDF option in your Printer options menu (Step 4 above), then select that option.
  6. In the Adobe PDF Settings, make sure you select Press Quality. This is very important because it will save your file as a high resolution document instead of a low resolution document. If you send us a low resolution or regular PDF file that is not saved for Press Quality, your postcard will look kind of blurry and not very sharp. So, we highly recommend that you select Press Quality from the Adobe PDF Settings option. Sometimes you will find the Settings button if you select Adobe PDF from the Copies and number menu.
  7. Once you have selected Press Quality you can click on the Print button and it will ask you where to Save the file.
  8. Save it to your desktop and email us the file.
  9. Make sure you embed your fonts into the PDF file. If you don't, your fonts may not look the way you intended them to. We do not take responsibility for this mistake so please please please make sure you embed your fonts.

And that's all you do.
